Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Hotel Paris provides the experience of staying in a rustic American mountain lodge, but on a grand scale. The hotel is a three-star option, and has a pleasantly quiet position on Lake Disney, flanked by the Hotel New York at one end and the Newport Bay Club Hotel at the other. Disney Village sits on the other side of the Lake, and it is only a stroll around the water to reach the heart of Disneyland Resort Paris.
The Sequoia Lodge Hotel at Disneyland Paris is a large hotel with over 1000 bedrooms. The accommodation and facilities are spread across a collection of buildings, each named in the American lodge theme. If you have small children or mobility problems you may want to request a room close to the dining and reception facilities, otherwise you may find there is a bit of a walk from your room to breakfast. The hotel offers mostly standard bedrooms, but there is also choice of refurbished Montana bedrooms and even a Honeymoon Suite. The facilities within the accommodation are practical rather than luxurious. The hotel has recently undergone a renovation to freshen up the facilities of one of Disneyland Paris’s most popular hotels.
The Sequoia Lodge Hotel is a good mid-range hotel choice. Of course, families are welcomed, and kids will love the theming of the hotel. The lodge offers the flexible continental buffet breakfast seen in all of the Disney venues. Breakfast spans over several hours. The best thing to do is either get up early and grab a croissant before heading to the extended park hours provided for all Disney Hotel guests, or go to the park for 8am, then come back for breakfast as Disneyland starts getting busier. The hotel is near enough to Disney Village to make evening dining a simple affair, but Sequoia Lodge also has two on site restaurants. Hunter’s Grill is a buffet diner, and the Beaver Creek Tavern has an international menu. There is also a bar lounge for evening relaxation.
