The Marriott Vacation Club Village d’Ile-de-France is a luxurious family holiday resort around 40 km east of Paris. The hotel is just south of the Disneyland Paris Resort, only a couple of kilometres from the heart of Disneyland and the rail connections at Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy Station. The resort sits on the far side of the Disney Golf complex, so it’s a good base if you fancy a game on the club’s 27 holes. The Marriott Vaction Club is close to Disney, but it is not an overly Disney-orientated hotel, which may appeal to some guests. It is easy to reach the parks from here, but it is equally straightforward to reach the nearby Val d’Europe shopping mall, the Sealife Centre, travel into the heart of Paris or even explore the French countryside by car.
The Marriott Village d’Ile-de-France is a sprawling resort in a peaceful and picturesque lakeside setting, with appealing landscaped grounds. This Paris hotel is made up of a collection of low-rise two-storey buildings, with a total of 202 townhouse style apartments available for guests. There are one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments available, and the largest choice can sleep up to eight guests, making it perfect for extended family groups. The hotel is a family-friendly choice. There is a games room and swimming pool facilities for both adults and children. The apartments are also very homely and well stocked with practical facilities, giving the hotel more of a home-away-from-home feel to it. The accommodation is self-catering, and there is a market store near reception where you can pick up the essentials.
The Marriott Vacation Club near Disneyland Paris is a great resort for guests that want the luxury of a four-star hotel but the independence of an apartment. Complimentary on site car parking is available, so every morning you can get up and drive wherever you like. If you want to go see Mickey Mouse and the gang at Disneyland Paris, the hotel does offer a shuttle service to the resort for an additional charge, or you can use the local bus links available just outside the hotel.
